BRAVECTO 1400 MG DOG 40 TO 56 KG

Bravecto is a chewable tablet for dogs that provides protection against ticks and fleas for up to 12 weeks. The active substance in Bravecto is the substance fluranaler. Fluranaler works against ticks and fleas. After swallowing the chewable tablet, fluranaler passes into your pet's bloodstream. Ticks and fleas attach themselves to your dog and start feeding. In this way these animals are exposed to the active substance and in 8 hours (fleas) up to 12 hours (ticks) the effect is active. The effect against ticks and fleas continues for 12 weeks, only against R. sanguineus ticks Bravecto acts for 8 weeks.

Bravecto 500MG Dog 10-20kg

Fluralaner is an acaricide and insecticide. It is effective against ticks and fleas in dogs. It is systemically active on target parasites. It powerfully inhibits certain parts of the nervous system of arthropods through an antagonistic action on chloride channels. Its action is not affected by resistance to dieldrin, amidines (tick), organophosphates (tick and mites), cyclodienes (tick, flea, fly), macrocyclic lactones (sea lice), phenylpyrazones (tick, flea) , benzophenyl ureas (tick), pyrethroids (tick, mite) and carbamates (mite). The product helps control flea populations in areas to which treated dogs have access. An in vitro study demonstrated that very low concentrations of fluralaner stop the production of viable eggs by fleas. The life cycle of the flea is broken due to the rapid onset of action and the long-lasting effect against adult fleas on the animal and the absence of viable egg production.

BRAVECTO 112.5 MG DOG 2 TO 4.5 KG

Treatment of tick and flea infestations.
  • This veterinary medicinal product is a systemic insecticide and acaricide which ensures:
- immediate and persistent insecticidal activity on fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) for 12 weeks; - immediate and persistent acaricidal activity on ticks for 12 weeks for Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus and Dermacentor variabilis; - immediate and persistent acaricidal activity on ticks for 8 weeks for Rhipicephalus sanguineus. In order to be exposed to the active substance, fleas and ticks must be present on the animal and have started feeding. The effect on fleas begins within 8 hours (C. felis) and within 12 hours for ticks (I. ricinus). The product can be used as part of a flea bite allergic dermatitis (flea bite allergic dermatitis) treatment plan. Treatment of demodicosis caused by Demodex canis. Treatment of infestations by sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis). Oral route.
  • Method of administration:
Administer Bravecto chewable tablets at or around meal time. Bravecto is a chewable tablet and is well accepted by most dogs. If the tablet is not taken voluntarily by the dog, it can also be given with food or directly into the mouth. The dog should be monitored during administration to ensure that the tablet has been ingested.
  • Treatment program:
For optimal control of flea infestation, the veterinary medicinal product should be administered at 12-week intervals. For optimal control of tick infestation, the reprocessing schedule depends on the tick species. See section 4.2. For the treatment of Demodex canis infestations, a single dose of the product should be administered. As demodicosis is a multifactorial disease, it is recommended that any underlying disease be treated appropriately as well. For the treatment of infestations with sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis), a single dose of the product should be administered. The necessity and frequency of re-treatment must be in accordance with the advice of the prescribing veterinarian.
